Cristy's Bridal Shower Brunch

Today we celebrated the upcoming marriage of Cristy & David. Her bridesmaids had a fabulous brunch for her at Nadia's house.

Dallas Stars Game

We had a wonderful time Friday night at the Stars game. The tickets were a generous gift from Cristy and David who have season tickets!

It was such a nice relaxing break after a long days work. We enjoyed the game (although the Stars lost) and enjoyed spending time with friends.

Sushi Night

Last night we met some friends out for dinner at The Blue Fish in North Dallas. What started out as a simple double date turned into a party! We were so happy that everyone made it and enjoyed some wonderful food and conversation.

We even got to see little Miss Zoe, Whitney and Jay. They didn't make it for the group shot because Zoe was insisting that it was her dinner time too!


We were celebrating the end of Erin's contract at Zale. We will really miss seeing her and hearing her bedside commentary.

We wish her the best as she moves back to Indianapolis - and we hope she won't forget us down here in Texas!

Durango Mountain Resort

We had a wonderful time skiing and relaxing with Drew and Jessica at Purgatory Mountain. We stayed slopeside for quick access to the mountain activities.

Matt and I took a half day guided snow shoe tour. The scenery was beautiful and peaceful but it was a lot of work!

Joni & Steven's Wedding

I was honored to attend the wedding of Joni & Steven with my mom this past weekend. The events were held at Chandler's Landing on Lake Ray Hubbard.

I had a lot of fun with my camera and later experimenting with Photoshop Elements.

SNOW?

Okay, so I know it doesn't look like much but this is Texas--in March.

We woke up this morning and our yard had a nice layer of beautiful snow. It made me miss Colorado.

Master Patrick James

On March 3rd we welcomed PJ into the world.

7 pound 3 ounces

20 1/2 inches

I got to meet him the next day while he and his mom ,Misty, were still in the hospital. Both looked wonderful!

All of my best to you Misty, Sean and PJ! You are a wonderful family!

Weekend in Tyler

We had a wonderful weekend with Drew, Jessica and the kids at their home in Tyler. On Friday and Saturday we had a HUGE, very successful garage sale. We grossed over $1K!

Believe it or not --- This picture is on Saturday morning. Most of our sales were on Friday!

On Friday evening, after Matt left to go home, we went to visit Drew at work. I got a complete tour of Jacksonville's Central Fire Station including the fire truck, ambulance and some cool tools like the jaws of life and heat detectors.

On Saturday morning Mom and I helped Drew with some lawn care. We raked a huge pile of leaves and the kids played in them while people continued to shop at our garage sale.

Tutus

My little niece is turning four next month and having a "Fairy Princess" birthday party, so I decided to get creative and make these cute tutus for her! (A big thank you to Amy for the idea!)

The pups were very interested in my morning craft project so I decided that they should be my first models.

I'm sure Caraline will look like the princess that she is!

Miss Zoe

Today, Matt and I met my friend Whittney and her new baby Zoe at the photo studio. Before her session began, we took a few pictures of our own.

I was in awe of her! She is so precious!

Whittney looks really good. I can't believe that she had a baby just three weeks ago!

I know that taking care of her is a full time job, but we miss seeing Whittney at work. I guess that is a good excuse to go out to lunch. Until then, be good to your mommy little Miss Zoe!
